Across the bridge is the old railroad station in Tacoma. It has been converted into a courthouse, but the lobby area is open to the public. It is a really beautiful building and the domed area inside is gorgeous.

Union Station in Tacoma
Tacoma Glass Museum
Last Monday was the only day we had to visit the Glass Museum in Tacoma. Unfortunately, we had forgotten that Monday is a favorite day for museums to be closed, and the Glass Museum was closed, as well as the other museums in downtown Tacoma. The museum area is across the railroad tracks and a freeway from downtown Tacoma and there is a bridge across those that has a display of Dale Chihuly's work. He is a well-known glassblower in the Tacoma area. Below is a picture of the museum and pictures taken on the bridge.

More Cars--100s More
Marty managed to find some more old cars, this time at the LeMay Musuem at Tacoma that had 300+. We did a tour that took 2-1/2 hours, and there were still more cars that we didn't see. I think they had just about anything you could imagine. I'll put together a slide show later when I have more time.
